Those who make things happen, those who watch things happen, and those who say, “What happened?”

What a fantastic quote, I’m not sure who wrote this but it really hits the nail on the head.  Which one are you?  Most people would like to say they are number one, but I would think most people fall into number two and scarily number 3.

What are you doing to make things happen in your life?  Are you chasing your dreams and goals or have you resigned yourself to a life that has been dealt to you by the ”circumstances” of your life?

Do you want to be a millionaire?  Do you want to achieve your ideal body weight?  Is there a job that you are dreaming to attain?  If so what is stopping you from going for it? Have a think about it, some people fear failure and quite commonly people fear success.

So what does it take to make things happen?  Quite simply, “action”, do what you have to do to take the first step.  “A Journey of a thousand miles begins with a  single step”, Confucius.

So take that first step and the second one will become easier, if you find a hurdle simply find your way around, over or under it.  Make things happen.

Question – When was the last time you dontated blood?

Another Question – If you are in a accident and you needed blood, would you expect to receive it even though you don’t donate blood? This was a question put to me by my boss at the time Philip Langley, and straight away I called up and made my appointment.

Sure, I know there are some people that have medical conditions or are past a certain age where they are not allowed to give blood, but to all of you out there who are perfectly fit and can easily walk into an Australian Red Cross Blood Service and donate, I ask you to make a blood donation booking immediately!

Why wait?

Right now Australia needs more than 270,000 blood donations to ensure hospitals have enough blood to meet the needs of their patients. If you dont donate blood, you need to, simply call 13 14 95.

If you feel you deserve blood when you are in an accident then you should donate blood. Full stop, no more questions. Go do it!

As always I wish you all success and happiness

Leon
